Adult: Mandolin Classes


Absolute Beginners

In this class you'll learn the basics of mandolin playing in a progressive way. A detailed approach to technique is adopted which may seem slow at first, but leads to great results. The basics of music theory are also introduced. Absolutely no experience is required.

Tutor

These classes are led by Eddie Smith.

Sessions

Courses usually run in blocks of 10 weeks 3 times per year, with times following the school holiday periods.


Beginners

In this class you will continue to work on your technique programme, and your repertoire will be developed through learning new notes and new pieces. Music theory will be further developed and ensemble playing confidence developed.

This class is led by Graeme Thomson.

Improvers

In this class you'll build on the experience gained in Beginners level. Further technique is examined as well as extending repertoire and music theory.
