Jens-Uwe Popp was born in 1967 in Rendsburg (Germany). He started playing guitar at the age of six.
Together with the guitar player Michael Bentzien he was honoured with several National and International Prizes. He
lives in Hamburg (Germany) and performs with renowned Artists such as Giora Fiedman, Efim Jourist and David Orlowskys
Klezmorim.
Jochen Roß was born in 1976 in Kassel (Germany). At the age of nine he started learning the Mandolin. He
was also honoured with several National and International Prizes. He lives in Hamburg and performs Classical Music as well as Rock Music.
Jens-Uwe Popp & Jochen Roß have been performing together since 1998. In 2002 they recorded their first CD "Zeitpunkte" with Classical Music of the 20th Century. Loving the Scottish country, music and people, they've been inspired to arrange and record Scottish Music for their second album "East Parkside" (2007). In this concert, Jens-Uwe Popp & Jochen Roß, supported by a double bass player, will present music from their forthcoming CD as well as from their first album. |
